Day and night, vital safety and healing services provide imperative solutions for nearly 4,000 individuals who rely on CVIC each year. Compounding this urgency are federal funding delays and private grant shifts that represent an annual budget deficit of more than $1 million.

• 552 nights could be spent in unsafe environments instead of at Mary’s Place Shelter.
• 339 therapy sessions may not happen — delaying healing.
• 4,274 youth and professionals could miss prevention education.

Meet Sharon & Isaac*

After a 24-year marriage full of control, isolation, and trauma that physically manifested as long-term health conditions, Sharon made the brave decision to leave and turned to CVIC.

Through our Transitional Housing program, she found:

• A safe place to live
• Stability for her and her son
• A clean bill of health & a chance to start over
