Area neighbors need your help now more than ever.
Day and night, vital safety and healing services provide imperative solutions for nearly 4,000 individuals who rely on CVIC each year. Compounding this urgency are federal funding delays and private grant shifts that represent an annual budget deficit of more than $1 million.
The Need is Now: Help Us Raise $500,000 by July 31
While long-term solutions are underway, this is the moment for our community to step in — ensuring CVIC’s services remain strong and accessible. The need is urgent — and growing. The need is now.
Neighbors at Risk
- 725 survivors may not have a helping hand in their darkest moments.
- 552 nights could be spent in unsafe environments instead of at Mary’s Place Shelter.
- 339 therapy sessions may not happen — delaying healing.
- 4,274 youth and professionals could miss prevention education.
Behind every number is a person, a family — a future:
Meet Sharon & Isaac*

After a 24-year marriage full of control, isolation, and trauma that physically manifested as long-term health conditions, Sharon made the brave decision to leave and turned to CVIC.
Through our Transitional Housing program, she found:
- A safe place to live
- Stability for her and her son
- A clean bill of health & a chance to start over
“This is the first time in my life I’ve been safe and not living in abuse. So I’m finally now seeing that I am worth it. Back there I couldn’t even see a week into the future. Now I can pretty much do whatever I want to do with my life.”
Thanks to CVIC friends who chose to Meet the Moment, Sharon and Isaac are safe, free and thriving.
