Your commitment to support CVIC’s work over a span of years provides operational stability and become part of a circle of cherished supporters investing in our bold vision to end interpersonal violence in two generations.

Our Dream Maker Society celebrates those who make a five-year pledge of at least $1,000/year. Will you join and become a maker of dreams?

Your monthly recurring gift will help us be there for families after the crisis call or night in the shelter as they begin their journey to self-sufficiency and healing.

• $10/month: provides for basic needs without judgment
• $35/month: helps families move from crisis to stability
• $83/month: promotes healing for adults and children impacted by violence

As a Rise Up Monthly Giving member, you will receive updates on the impact your commitment is making and receive invitations to special events.

You can choose to give to our general fund or make a tribute gift in memory or honor of a loved one.

Consider a bequest to CVIC in your will or revocable trust, designate CVIC as a full, partial or contingent beneficiary of your retirement account, or name CVIC as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Gifts by bequest make an indelible impact on those we serve and may provide tax benefits for you and your family.

Consider this option if you have stocks with large gains and receive a double tax benefit by deducting the full fair market value of your securities and also avoid capital gains. To ensure successful stock transfers, please contact us early so we can provide you transfer instructions to ensure your gift is credited in this tax year.

A gift to CVIC’s endowment provides an enduring way to give back and change lives today, tomorrow and forever. The principal is invested each year and a portion is used to support clients receiving services. Your endowment gift may also be eligible for a North Dakota State Income Tax credit.

If you are over 70 1/2 years old, you may roll over up to $100,000 per year from your IRA to CVIC before the end of the year and avoid taxes on the transfer amount. Your rollover gift may also meet the required annual minimum distribution. Please consult your tax adviser to determine if this is the best giving strategy for you.

Your donations to the Client Emergency Fund help families with urgent needs such as medical, transportation and housing resources.
