CVIC welcomes UND’s Art Malloy, Grand Forks Police Department’s Jeremy Moe to board of directors

GRAND FORKS, N.D.—Community Violence Intervention Center (CVIC)—a key provider of domestic violence and sexual assault intervention/prevention services, and leading statewide nonprofit whose mission is to end interpersonal violence—has welcomed two prominent community leaders to its board of directors.

UND Vice President of Student Affairs Art Malloy and Grand Forks Police Department Criminal Investigations Bureau Commander Lt. Jeremy Moe will help the organization uphold its mission of ending violence in two generations through strategic initiatives and dynamic community partnerships.

Malloy is the current vice president for student affairs at University of North Dakota. Malloy, who received his Doctor of Education from the University of Georgia, said his time in Atlanta included serving on the board of VOICE Today, a nonprofit focused on breaking the cycle of sexual abuse in minors, as well as organizing anti-violence initiatives including Men Against Rape, an organization that educates males on topics related to sexual consent.

Moe is a member of the Grand Forks law enforcement community and joined the CVIC board to increase community safety through education and partnerships. As the Criminal Investigations Bureau Commander of the Grand Forks Police Department, Moe oversees investigators responsible for combating physical and sexual offenses.
