Halfway there: Our community is Meeting the Moment

Our goal is to raise $500,000 by July 31 to keep services strong and accessible—right when they’re needed most.

Today, we are overjoyed to share that we have met—and surpassed—the halfway mark, raising more than $260,000!

Protecting these vital services does not only affect the young mother walking through the doors of our shelter for the first time.

It does not only change the lives of the men and women learning about healthy relationships through our violence intervention program.

And it certainly does not stop with the teen who created the self-portrait here—an attempt to feel seen, known, and understood during a therapy session.

When survivors receive support, children experience safer homes. When families heal, cycles of violence can be interrupted. And when young people learn what healthy relationships look like before violence ever occurs, entire futures can change.

We are deeply grateful for the support that has brought us this far and for everyone who has already stepped forward to meet this moment.

As we move into the final month to reach our goal, we invite you to continue standing with us. If this is a moment when you are able to give, your gift will help us build on this momentum and ensure CVIC continues to provide safety, advocacy, healing, and hope across our community right when it’s needed most.
