Evaluation Process
We encourage broad input into our program evaluation and involve education and training participants, the community, program staff and board of directors. Quantitative and qualitative data is compiled quarterly to determine if we are on track with our objectives, and we make changes as needed.

2006 Outcome Measurement Report

  • Out of 1,617 surveys completed by participants, 93% were satisfied with the presentation and presenter. Comments participants have made include:
    • "Motivational speaker.  Nice to listen to!"
    • "Age appropriate!  Right on target for the audience you were addressing."
    • "It gave me more tools to assist in the initial response and handling of a complaint."
  • 91% of 1,186 general education participants surveyed reported increased awareness of issues and services.
  • 93% of 173 professionals surveyed showed an increase in knowledge on pre- and post-presentation tests or answered all questions correctly on both.
  • 94% of 431 professionals surveyed indicated the training provided them with knowledge and skills that will assist them in helping clients.
  • 97% of training participants responding to six-month follow-up surveys indicated that they use the skills learned sometimes, often or on a daily basis.
