Evaluation Process
We encourage broad input into our program evaluation and involve education and training participants, the community, program staff and board of directors. Quantitative and qualitative data is compiled quarterly to determine if we are on track with our objectives, and we make changes as needed.
2008 Outcome Measurement Report
- Out of 2,278 surveys completed by participants, 98% were satisfied with the presentation and presenter. Comments participants have made include:
- "Fun and entertaining presentation to learn about healthy relationships."
- "The presenter knew what she was talking about."
- "I believe the entire presentation was well put together and worth my time."
- 93% of 1,821 general education participants surveyed reported increased awareness of issues and services.
- 73% of 147 professionals surveyed showed an increase in knowledge on pre- and post-presentation tests or answered all questions correctly on both.
- 96% of 457 professionals surveyed indicated the training provided them with knowledge and skills that will assist them in helping clients.
- 87% of training participants responding to six-month follow-up surveys indicated that they use the skills learned sometimes, often or on a daily basis.
