Erase Your Internet Tracks

Computer use can be monitored, and it is impossible to completely clear your history. If you are concerned about the trail that your computer leaves, follow the instructions to erase your browser's history below.

If you want to leave this site quickly, use the leave this page button at anytime.

If you are afraid your internet and/or computer usage might be monitored, please use a safe computer, call your local hotline at 701-746-8900, and/or call the National Domestic Violence Hotline by phone at 1-800-799-7233, or 1-800-787-3224 (TTY).

To erase history from your browser, choose the browser type below:

Microsoft Internet Explorer

bullet Under the 'Tools' menu, click 'Internet Options'
bullet Under the 'General Tab', click the following:
bullet'Clear History'
bullet'Delete Cookies'
bullet'Delete Files'

Safari

bullet Click History on the top menu.
bullet Click Clear History at the bottom of the menu

bulletUnder the 'Tools' menu, click 'Internet Options'
bulletUnder the 'Privacy' tab, clear the following:

bulletCookies
bulletCache

bulletClick the button called 'Empty now'
