Community Investment
None of CVIC’s revenues is guaranteed from year to year, and CVIC relies on community support to carry on the work of ending violence and serving individuals in need. Nonprofit funding trends indicate that both government and foundation/corporate support are on the decline, making local support even more critical.  In 2006, approximately 31% – or $390,235 – was raised from private local sources each year as described below.
